Tru Access Blog - DIFFERENCE MAKERS USUALLY THINK DIFFERENT
“Here’s to the Crazy Ones. The misfits. The Rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in a square holes. The ones who see things differently… Because the ones who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who usually do.” ..

Tru Access Blog - MULTICULTURAL MILLENNIAL MISCONCEPTIONS
Let’s start off with a few definitions just to make sure we’re all on the same page. Multicultural is defined as several cultural or ethnic groups within a society. For the purposes of this post, we are focusing specifically on those of non-white ethnic groups when we refer to multicultural.  ..

Today I have the good fortune of addressing an audience of government employees about bridging cultural and generational gaps at their annual leadership conference. I have made a number of presentations and workshops on this very topic. This is what we call achieving Culturational Chemistry™.  ..

Tru Access Blog - Recruiting Multicultural Millennials
Do you guys remember the television show “Cheers”? I liked that show. I really liked the theme song too. There is one line in the “Cheers” theme song that really stood out to me and that I would always sing a little louder than the rest of the song. It’s the line that goes “sometimes you wanna go where everybody knows your name”. Tru Access Blog - Truth Justice & The Millennial Way
It would be unfair to me and anyone else that reads this post if I did not discuss the Trayvon Martin case. The verdict and aftermath of the case is still heavy on my mind and heavy on my heart. My prayers go out to everyone involved and particularly to the Martin family who has suffered the greatest loss of all. We cannot change the past, but we also don’t have to repeat it. The biggest question to me is how do we move forward as a country? ..

Tru Access Blog - What is the Millennial SCOT
A SWOT analysis is a method that is typically used to determine the direction, goals and objectives of a business by evaluating its Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats. This is an exercise that I encourage all my millennial crew to perform on yourselves to evaluate your own personal brand. I’ve flipped the acronym a little though and replaced Weaknesses with Challenges, which leaves us with Strengths, Challenges, Opportunities and Threats. ..

Tru Access Blog - Multicultural Multigenerational Millennial Embrace
We all know the statistics of how diverse the millennial generation is. This generation is known for its cultural curiosity, racial and ethnic diversity and multicultural mindset. I am very encouraged when I see the way things are heading with the level of acceptance and inclusion among the millennial generation. I imagine that we can only expect things to get better from a diversity and inclusion standpoint with the generations to come. ..
