The “N” Word Flying High...

I saw a story on the news this past weekend (2/18/13) about a 60 year old white man calling a 19 month old black baby the “N” word and then slapping the child. I couldn't believe what I was hearing, when the reporter first told the story. During a flight from Minneapolis to Atlanta on February 8th, 60 year old Joe Rick Hundley was sitting next to a woman, Jessica Bennett, and her 19 month old son Jonah, who began crying as the plane began to descend. According to reports, Hundley told Mrs. Bennet to “shut that ni##a baby up”! Obviously stunned and caught off guard by the comment, Mrs. Bennett asked Mr. Hundley what he said to make sure she wasn’t hearing things and he leaned in and repeated himself and proceeded to slap the child in the face. ..
